At Lamplighter Dental, we would like to invite you to meet with our dedicated, friendly, and professional staff members. Your comfort and confidence in all of our services is one of our goals. Together, we work to provide exceptional dental services for all of our patients.

Dr. Honaker graduated from the University of Montana, with honors, receiving dual degrees in Psychology and Human Biology. He then attended the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health in Mesa, Arizona. During his time in school, he developed two separate community outreach projects providing free care to homeless veterans. He also spent many hours volunteering at Give Kids a Smile Day, Free Family Health and Wellness Day, the Arizona Oral Cancer Walk, and the Day for Special Smiles (a program providing free dental treatment for children with developmental disabilities).

Being passionate about providing care to underserved populations, Dr. Honaker has completed a Certificate in Public Health and attended four month-long clinical externships at community health centers in Billings, Missoula, California, and Oregon.

Dr. Honaker is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, and has served as Worthy Master of the Delta Sigma Delta International Dental Fraternity.

Born and raised in Billings, Dr. Honaker is grateful to return and have the opportunity to give back to his community. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, playing the drums with his garage band, cooking, golfing, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Emese Tokos is passionate about helping people overcome their fear of the dentist—something she understands firsthand. She recognizes that there are limitations to the amount of dentistry that has been available to some patients. Due to lack of proper preventive oral health care in socialist Romania, Dr. Tokos had recurrent abscesses and had a premature extraction of a primary molar. After moving to the US at age six, some of her most vivid memories involve the dentist. Due to the negative connection she had between her mouth and dentistry, going to her first dental appointment in the US was not exciting. However, the caring nature of her dentist and friendly faces at his dental practice eased the fact that she had 17 cavities in her 20 primary teeth.

The praise she received each time she returned with healthy teeth, and the joy of having a beautiful smile, made a huge impact on her desire to become a dentist. Her goal has always been to help others understand the importance of dental health and its connection with ones systemic health. Dr. Tokos firmly believes that “the mouth is the gateway to the overall health of the body.” She is excited to be able to educate, help prevent, and eliminate fear of the dental field so that our community can have excellent oral health.

Dr. Tokos is Hungarian, originally from Transylvania, Romania. She first moved to the USA with only her mother and two suitcases when she was six years old. She was educated in North Texas, graduating as Valedictorian with an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Hirschi Magnet High School in 2005. Due to her accomplishments, she received free tuition to Midwestern State University where she started the pre-dental program.

After her first year at MSU, Dr. Tokos decided she wanted to learn more about her Hungarian heritage and moved to Budapest, Hungary to attend Semmelweis University Dental School. She practiced for a very short time in Budapest before moving to the United States to get her American Dental License. After graduating at CUSDM, she worked part time as an on-call dentist in Summit County Colorado until finding a full-time associate position in the San Luis Valley of Colorado. She worked in Colorado until joining Brewer Dental Center.

Dr. Tokos feels very strongly about the importance of continuing education as the field of dentistry continues to evolve so rapidly with new technology and techniques. Since graduating, she continues to learn in order to provide her patients with the most modern and best care to help achieve a healthy and esthetic smile. Research and continuing education in order to advance her knowledge and help solve current health related issues has always been of interest to her.

Dr. Tokos is a member of the:

  • American Dental Association
  • Academy of General Dentistry
  • Colorado Dental Association
  • Denver Metro Dental Society
  • Montana Dental Association

The importance of applying oneself outside of scholastic requirements led to Dr. Tokos’ involvement in extracurricular activities as well as community service projects. While in Budapest, she was very involved in the student leadership. As the Chairwoman of the International Student Association of Semmelweis (ISAS), she was able to help integrate the Hungarian and Foreign students studying abroad. She was also a member of the Student Senate and a student representative for all of Hungary’s Universities Senate of Directors. During her time at CUSDM, she was also a member of the Student Senate, the Women’s Dental Association, ASDA, and other organizations. Since starting to practice, Dr. Tokos has been passionate about giving back to the community by volunteering her time at community health fairs and teaching children about proper oral hygiene.

Dr. Tokos is married to her husband Casey, and they have one miniature shorthaired Dachshund named Rover, who is essentially their child. They are very excited to be joining the Billings community and hope to be able to start a (fur-free) family in the future.

When she is not working, you will find Dr. Tokos exploring new places, reading books, trying to learn how to dance, and enjoying all the little things in life. She also loves to travel the world and experience different cultures.

Dr. Brysen B. Hansen completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He continued on to Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. He also completed a pediatric rotation in an underserved pediatric clinic in Phoenix, as well as a rotation at an assisted living home treating elderly patients suffering from dementia.

As a practicing dentist, Dr. Hansen enjoys the creativity involved in designing and implementing the best treatment for patients. He most appreciates the day-to-day interactions with people from all walks of life.

While in dental school, Dr. Hansen participated in Give Kids a Smile, Super Sealant Saturday, Free Dental Screening Days, and the Oral Cancer Foundation Walk. He sees the community as a big extended family, and feels that there is no higher calling than helping and serving family.

He is a member of the:

  • American Dental Association
  • Academy of General Dentistry

Dr. Hansen grew up in a small town in Central Utah, and has always dreamed of living in the big sky country of Montana. He is very excited to be living in and serving the community of Billings. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Hansen and his dog Henry enjoy fishing, camping, and just about any minute spent in the mountains. Bow hunting is what really makes him “tick.”

Dr. David Clark is passionate about helping his patients regain and maintain a state of oral health. Nothing makes him happier than seeing a patient who has had a bad experience at the dentist and showing that it can be comfortable, and even a little bit fun.

He also relishes the opportunity to get to know a diverse range of people, from kids to adults, finding out their concerns and addressing them through quality dentistry. He is excited to go to work every day knowing there will be someone who needs a boost to their happiness or to have their pain relieved.

Dr. Clark attended BYU for his undergraduate studies, majoring in biology. He completed his dental degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.

While in school, Dr. Clark helped organize a free extraction clinic in Oklahoma City to help those in the community who otherwise couldn’t get dental treatment. He enjoyed serving his community, making it a better place and encouraging a more team-oriented approach to life.

Since graduating, Dr. Clark has taken courses focused on the latest and best instruments, materials, and technologies for an array of dental procedures. His ultimate hope is that, through continuing education, he will give his patients the comfort of knowing they are receiving the best treatment possible by a dentist who cares about them individually. Dr. Clark always looks for ways to alleviate discomfort for his patients, as their wellbeing is his highest priority.

He is a member of the:

  • American Dental Association
  • Academy of General Dentistry

Dr. Clark and his wife have a two-year-old son, as well as a dog and a ball python. As a family, they enjoy all things outdoors, from hiking to fly-fishing to stomping in puddles. Dr. Clark’s favorite place to be is at the top of a mountain enjoying the view. He also enjoys serving in his church, playing racquetball, biking, and watching his son explore.
